Yeah, they are. They're a bit on the tiny side, though, and they've actually recolored some of the old issues for some reason. I was a bit disappointed.

And here we go again with a problem that started with the beginnings of the free internet...
you can see this problem in so many different ways, and so many people will say it's illegal, and so many other will say it's not.
I will tell my opinion, this problem not only happen with comics, it's also happen with mangas, animes, tv series, movies, games, etc... and, of course, one of the most basic things we download from internet, music, and I'm stopping here because the list is unlimited.
To what I know, if you bought something, and then you do something with it, it's your problem, because you paid for that thing and that thing become yours. If I bought that comic and I scan it and then post it in the internet, what's the wrong thing I'm doing if the comic I scan is mine? I paid for it, so it belongs to me (hypothetically speaking because I have never do that)
BUUUT, if I start gaining profit out of it, that's ilegal because I'm gaining money with the work of other people, that's the reason why copyrights exist in the first place. If this scanners were charging us to download the comics THAT would be totally illegal, because they don't have the rights by law to do that. Yet they don't do it, they just put them in their web, for you to download.
In my case I don't have ANY other way to read the comics, and it become the same thing with all the mangas and animes I saw, they don't arrive to my country, what you want me to do then?
Also this scans allow people who don't know the comics to know it and only increase the fanbase of it (if you like the comic of course xD) and as long a comic has a fateful fanbase, they will still bought the comic.
About if all this problem is illegal or not, I don't know, but if you consider it illegal, then just don't download the scans, yet if you start questioning this thing about illegal stuff in the internet, then you must stop downloading a lot of things from it in the first place...

And about posting the comic in DA, it's illegal because your uploading the work of another person and DA also provides you with a copyright the moment you upload something, so, you're also breaking the copyright of the original owner, at least that's why I think it's illegal posting them in DA, which is supposed to be about your works.

its like, veiwing a friends comic book. as long as you make no money off of what you are getting, its okay. no questions asked. how do you think a good majority of digital artists on here get their programs?
