Now for a real critique. Colors are fantastic as usual, especially on her shoes. The pose looks very original along with your tradition...

Badass commercials #1

Journal Entry: Mon May 11, 2015, 9:41 PM

Coke commercials used to be cool...

Or at least half way decent commercials...yeah I just remembered this pretty memorable tv spot for Coca-Cola back from the...I think mid to late 90s.  You have this regular looking all American 50s-esque mother figure who turns into a freakin' superhero (which actually looks REALLY legit) saves the earth from a giant meteorite, and yet makes it home just in time to get her kids a refreshing bottle of Coke...damn thats a fine woman.

I LOVED this commercial back in the day, the animation is absolutely gorgeous, has a hot female protagonist, AND made me thirsty for an ice cold Coke.

Couple of things though...she zoomed right through the store...and grabbed the drinks without even paying?  BAD. NAUGHTY.  Also, maybe its just me but shes looks remarkably like Storm from X-Men the animated series...hmmmm...perhaps a distant relative eh?  Anyway, I loved this when I was a kid, and for those who remember tv in the 90's, I'm sure you loved it too...

Welp, another journal out of the way, comments always welcome...bye for now!

You are the artist I've always dreamt of meeting in person. Your sleek painted style is not comparable to disney-- it is something entirely different. You pull off character poses and expressions that give them more animated features. Your use of color composition sets the mood in every piece beautifully, though leans heavily on warm and lax. Often risqué, or implied with "naked" characters, the way you've drawn bashful or sudden awareness of the lack of clothing is endearing and very creative. Nice use of pop culture references as well!

You've drawn everything so spot on, no more words can describe it.

Your work is the sort of art that I could sit back and just page flip through in a reclined chair. If you ever decide to print out art books, or even a magazine with the fine-feeling laminate pages, I would buy them in a heart beat.

To your many years of practise and hard earned praise, it is a pleasure to happen upon your work.

Sorry for the late reply, I don't usually get comments that are this lengthy OR elaborate!  Thanks so much for appreciating my work, I always love comments with such meaning! =)
